Blue Lions old and new competed in the notorious Dragon Boat Race on the 22nd May at Himley Hall Park.

Battling (well paddling anyway) against 28 teams from the West Midlands, a team from UBAS and the UBAS Association competed across 3 heats, with the fastest 6 teams invited to fight it out in an all-or-nothing final.

After restarting the race due to a collision, Blue Lions Old, the UBAS Association team were crowned champions!

UBAS had a history here, with the squadron achieving 2nd place in the 2019 event, losing out on 1st by just 0.24 of a second.
