Story

During the last week of January, both the men's and women's Rugby clubs at the University of Birmingham will be racing the length of the country to raise money for our programmes and the OddBalls Foundation! This involves running or cycling a distance of over 1400km in total for each club as well as completing various extra challenges along the way.

We have chosen to raise money for the OddBalls Foundation and help raise awareness for testicular cancer. The OddBalls foundation carry out amazing work breaking down the stigma surrounding testicular cancer and educating people across the country. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer between men ages 15-49. This is really important cause and we hope this fundraiser will encourage more people to feel comfortable talking about testicular cancer and help to break down the taboos associated with it. Lads, check yourselves!

We will donate 50% of the money raised on this page directly to the OddBalls foundation and 50% will go towards the rugby clubs here at the University of Birmingham to help with the costs of running the clubs. We would hugely appreciate any donations and support sharing our fundraising page. Please see our social media accounts for updates on the progress of both clubs as they complete the challenge.
