8 students of University of Glasgow are embarking on an expedition to Thailand, Phuket to learn more about the environmental implications of marine tourism and sharktrade. The student lead research projects will establish a robust baseline data set than can be built and improved on in the future, providing information on marine conservation. A public outreach program will be running too, raising importance of the role of marine life in the ecosystem.
