Agnes Flues Memorial Parkrun – Saturday 8 November

Agnes Flues was a legend at Nottingham University UCU — an incredible president, a tireless campaigner for everything good, and a beloved friend and inspiration to all who knew her. Agnes was taken from us far too soon, and we miss her deeply. Each year, we honour her legacy with our annual memorial parkrun fundraiser.

Workers at the University of Nottingham are currently facing deep and damaging job cuts and have chosen to take industrial action. We know that Agnes would have been at the forefront of our campaign to protect jobs and defend our community.

Join us on Saturday 8 November 2025 at Wollaton Hall parkrun to celebrate Agnes’s life and spirit. Arrive in time to volunteer, participate, or spectate, and please wear UCU colours – pink and purple 💜
