The University of Nottingham is planning to make over 600 of its staff redundant. Around one in four academics will lose their jobs. Technicians and professional services staff are also at risk.

UCU, the trade union that represents these workers, is fighting back with a marking and assessment boycott (MAB). Management have threatened staff who take part with 100% pay deductions.

To help our members sustain this fight, we are looking to boost our solidarity fund. This will be used to lessen the hardship felt by staff who could go for long periods without pay as they fight the university's plans.
