As some of you may already know, myself and Alice are trying to raise as much money towards our nursing elective placement in Pokara, Nepal. As you can all imagine, this isn't cheap so if you have any money to spare, we will be extremely grateful, as every little bit helps. We will be going on the 18th August 2019 for a month. During this time we will be working in the hospital/community helping those in the deprived areas of Pokhara.

This is our final placement before we qualify as nurses in September (scary!). We started this course together in September 2016 and have experienced many ups and downs along the way so we thought by going somewhere completely out of our comfort zones was the best way to end this journey! We've decided to do this placement so we can experience what it is like to work where medical resources are extremely limited and work in a completely different culture. We are yet to find out which sort of ward we will be working on, so we will update you all with more details when we know. We are looking forward to this challenge and hope we can make a difference to the people who we meet and care for while we're there.
