I've raised £1500 to Help Whitley Bridge Cricket Club recover from vandalism and get playing cricket at Eggborough again

A massive clean-up operation has begun at a North Yorkshire cricket club after nearly 50 travellers and 14 caravans were evicted from the site. We’re looking for help to repair the damage and let the club start playing cricket again.
We're humbled by everyone who has donated and supported the club in reaching our initial target. As we start to understand the full extent of the damage caused, we've had to raise our target to make sure that Whitley Bridge CC can carry on into the 2019 season and beyond.
Founded in 1908 we are a club with a rich history. We run 1st and 2nd teams, a midweek side and three junior age group sides from Under 11s to Under 15s. The club's glory years were in the 60s and early 70s when every trophy going regularly resided at Whitley.
Like all clubs we are always looking for new members for all teams - please get in touch if interested.

We also now have an official twitter feed where you can follow the club as it recovers and does what it does best - plays cricket.
