    Story

As a non-binary person, there is little to no support for me from our health system. Our government and by extension the NHS prefer to outright ignore our existence, never mind our needs.

While dysphoria for binary trans people is often very different than dysporia in non-binary folks, it still exists and can cause massively detrimental effects to our mental health.

After suffering from depression, physical pain including back ache and permanently ruined posture and self harm, 2 years ago me and my 32HH chest were approved to have a breast reduction on the NHS.

My first sign that I should have ran in the opposite direction was when I brought up my dysphoria around my breasts and how it affected my mental health, one of the considerations for surgery approval, and was told by my surgeon that he could make me 'completely flat no problem', but that he would not be considering that with me, as his focus would be on making me 'aesthetically proportional'.

According to him, 'aesthetically proportional' is a 32F.

I can't live like this anymore. It's been 2 years. I've asked my GP about the possibility of a second operation and was told 'it's just something you have to accept about being a woman'.

Help a non-binary kid out. I've searched everywhere, and the average price available for me to get this surgery privately is £6000.

Being autistic and unable to work, I have no hope of achieving this goal alone. All I know is that I can't go on like this.

    I need your support.

Any donation towards this goal would be appreciated so much, and so wholeheartedly that I can't even put it into words. Every bit of support gives me that little bit more hope that this isn't something I have to live with forever.

Even if you can't support me personally, thank you for reading this far and I hope you have a wonderful day.
