I've raised £15000 to Provide hampers to struggling individuals and families containing everything they need to do a traditional Christmas Dinner

For the last few years, helped by schools, churches and local businesses, Urban Outreach with its volunteers and partners have put together hampers. We distribute them a couple of days before Christmas to families in Bolton who, for various reasons, are having a hard time. These families are identified by our contacts in local support agencies, churches and other organisations.
We ask schools, churches, local business and other local organisations to pledge and collect Christmas food items to help us make this a reality for hundreds of families in Bolton, giving them a little bit of good news and hope at Christmas.
The most expensive ingredient in the hamper is the chicken. So…. this year we have a plan to raise £15,000 to pay for the chickens, the trimmings and the fresh vegetables!

A 516-mile scenic route around the north coast of Scotland, starting and ending at Inverness Castle. Named as 'Scotland's Route 66' the official North Coast 500 route begins in Inverness and heads west towards Kyle of Lochalsh, up the scenic west coast to Durness and across the most northerly stretch to John O’Groats and then back down to Inverness again, tackling some of Scotland’s most demanding roads.
