My name is Usman and I'm the Founder and Director of HAVEN Coffee . We are a young social enterprise both looking to promote quality coffee and upskill refugees who are out of work in London. We offer barista and employability training to refugees, giving them an opportunity to develop skills and integrate into their community. We also plan to bring incredible refugee-made artwork to the heart of Waltham Forest, by selling prints and original pieces at our coffee stand.

As both a refugee and a dedicated coffee lover, I am passionate about supporting refugee communities through this initiative. Over the past few months I've made hundreds of coffees at different events, including the Refugee Week February conference and regular comedy nights at Camden People's Theatre. Now, after gaining the experience and qualifications needed to take this business further, it is time to scale up the operation and create an official start-up for HAVEN Coffee.

We have secured a space at Switchboard Studios, Uplands Business Park, Blackhorse Ln, London E17 5QJ and hope to be serving the creatives who work there soon. We humbly ask you to help us reach our goal and fund an item on our 'Needs' list to directly support refugees.
