This year Amélie was honoured to be offered a place as part of Team GB and represent Great Britain at the IDO Tap World Championships in Germany.

This is a stunning achievement and both her little sister, Quinn and I are so proud of Amélie.

Amélie has a special relationship with dancing and I can honestly say that without it she wouldn't be the little girl she is today.

Naturally there are costs involved in participating at such a level plus the travel costs involved. We have been so touched by the support we have received locally and so grateful for support from our fantastic family including offering to look after Amélie's little sister Quinn so that I can take Amélie to Germany to compete.

We have been busy with local fundraising e.g. cake sales and Amélie has been helping making teas and coffees at the dance school (washing up too!).
