I've raised £300 to This year I’m running The Great North Run to raise funds for a local charity called Tommy’s, for research into stillbirth.

This year I am running The Great North Run on Sunday September 9th. I have decided to raise funds for a local charity called Tommy’s, who do research into pregnancy and still birth. I am supporting a beautiful family; Heather and Kev who tragically lost their baby boy Cody full term after a healthy pregnancy.
Stillbirth is more common than many people think. One in every 200 hundred births ends in stillbirth. meaning eleven babies are born sleeping every day in the U.K.
On Monday 13th February 2017 Cody’s heart had stopped beating at 40 weeks and 6 days. On Wednesday 15th February 2017 at 8:50 p.m, perfect baby Cody Tallentire Armstrong-Miles was born asleep . The name meaning of Cody is ‘Helpful’.
In his memory I am raising both awareness and money to help support families who have no option but to face such devastation. The money raised will go towards research for stillbirth. In the hope that one day families will no longer suffer the loss of an angel baby
