Reggie has trisomy 21 ( down syndromes) and was born at 29 weeks as most premie babies he struggled with episodes of what they call apnea as a tiny baby the forget to breath as a result they give them caffeine as a stimulant. However Reggie didn't and hasn't grown out of this hes a very floppy positional baby and the docs place him on his front and side to try and help with this.he has a very large tongue that he flips back and he drops his chin which secludes his airways that results in Reggie turning blue and grey his sats go from 100 to 12

Then he needs to be resuscitated (bagging with breaths of air to bring him back up) if I'm not watching him 24 7 without sleep I will not spot what these alarms do. It happens in seconds. They say he will eventually grow out of this but when he becomes unwell or spitting or sickly on milk it also happens to him. Now they don't have all the funds as the NHS and prioritise. I want it for my own peace of mind. Any money mot raised will go to the and down syndrome group the ups and downs to help other parents in my shoes. Thank u from my heart xx
