Story
Ukrainian Update: 1st June 2022.

I have been working with the Veterans’ Army over the past 7 weeks who have delivered over 800,000 pounds worth of essential Medical Aid in country to the Ukraine. Ryan Yates, & his Team are amazing and spend hours and hours making sure that the donated Aid actually arrives at its intended destination. I have been lucky enough to be involved on several trips in country and each time I am left speechless with the current situation.
The Media seems to have moved on to other things in the world, but the need is still so great for the Ukrainian people.
Veterans Army - A Day with us!!
Once again, I am asking you to dig deep and please help. Every Pound is essential at the moment and believe me does in fact Save Lives.
Ukraine Update:
Well over the last 3 weeks I have travelled to Poland / Ukraine twice and spent over 17 days on site. I have worked with, Boxers Barbers, Veterans Army, Operation White Stork & the Slavic Mission in Krakow, Poland.
What an amazing, humbling experience. I have made some new friends for life. I knew the experience would be interesting but the out pouring of Humanitarian Aid from around the world has been incredible. While driving through Germany at fuel stations people would come up to our Sign Written vehicle and give us food etc.. and wish us well.

While in Poland Steve from Boxers Barbers asked us to Purchase a Pallet of Flour as the price had skyrocketed in the Ukraine. (Off to Metro in Krakow)

I have delivered HA twice to the Prezejscie Smolnica boarder and also entered the Ukraine and delivered to the Missions in country who distribute to the locals and then load Aid onto trains heading off to Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv etc..

I am going back in country next week with the Veterans Army.
I would like to say also that the Ukrainians I have meet both in and out of the country has been inspiring and their resourcefulness is unbelievable. I knew very little about the Ukraine before the invasion. I am now honoured to call these people my friends.
The hardest part of the past few weeks has been at the crossing and the Missions seeing these poor displaced Refugees. Their whole lives put into one bag and leaving a country they love on an unknown journey with children or elderly parents. Its heart breaking to see!!

I would like to say a massive thank you to all my friends who have donated…Its makes a Huge Difference and the Aid Has, and Is Saving Lives. Thank you!!
I have hundreds of photos & Videos and will at some stage get a full photo / video collection together.
I would also like a say a big Thank You to VANAID. What a Team of People!!!.
Thankyou for helping!!
Myles
2 minutes 16 into the above video is what the trips and no sleep are all about. I challenge anyone not to have a tear (or bit of dust) in their eye by the end of the video!!!
