Story

The Cause:

The SBCFoundation supports those living in refugee camps in Jordon and Cambodia and they need your help. The risks associated with coronavirus are particularly acute in refugee camps, where crowding poses heightened risks of infection. Medical supplies are urgently needed at this time. With your support they also hope to find new ways to prevent and treat both the mental and physical trauma that disproportionately affects those living in areas of conflict as well as in the UK.

The Event:

Your Personal Everest Challenge: 4th or 5th July,

To raise awareness and funds for this great charity we are launching the

Your Personal Everest Challenge

Exercise is not just good for the body it is good for the mind. However, it works best if you are doing exercise that is right for you, that you enjoy and it's more fun as part of a team!

Our Three Generation Team is going to attempt our own personal challenges together:

The daughter, Gigi, is going to run a half marathon, The Mother, that's me, is going to walk across the countryside for the time it takes Gigi to do her run (apprx. 2 hours) and Grandad, at 81 years old is going to cycle a half marathon.

You too can get involved!

Join our team or get some family or friends involved and make up your own challenges. It could be anything, at any level keeping a football going, skipping round the garden, even how many crossword clues you can complete in the time.

Have some fun, feel good and raise awareness and some money for a great cause. Any donation no matter how big or small will help.

Thank You!
