    Story

Mums On A Mission is made up mainly of young mothers and who fully understand the challenges of what it is to be a young single mother, and coping with the pressures of raising children, and dealing with related issues such as the complexities of the state systems, isolation and loneliness, employment, and child care and father’s contribution issues.
We have got together in order to collectively utilise our knowledge and experiences to provide opportunities for other young mothers to attend arranged outreach and general engagement sessions such as Coffee Mornings in order to provide a safe space to interact and network with other families, build friendships/relationships and to enable them to attend workshops and presentations from experts on topics of interest and obtain advice as well as assistance on a range of issues, affecting them as mothers including awareness, health and wellbeing ,benefits, education, employment and housing.
We are writing to you seeking your kind input to enable us to keep our work going.
The assistance that we immediately need is in the provisions for coffee mornings events and advocacy services.
