Varshini is 7 years old and hearing impaired. She goes to Shri Patcheappane School for the Hearing Impaired (SPSHI) which is a charitable, non profit school in Puducherry, India.This school was started by my grandmother Sarasvady and hence really close to my heart. Most of the children in this school come from a poor background and are unable to afford their school uniform, books, stationary, hearing aid etc. and Varshini is one of them. She lives with her parents and 2 siblings. Her dad works as a labourer and his monthly income is only £45 and he often struggles to provide 2 meals for the family.

I feel privileged to have everything that I need and more here in the UK while there are children like Varshini who do not even have enough to eat or wear. I have therefore chosen Varshini to raise funds for. So please donate to sponsor her education for 1 year . Any donation, small or big is very welcome.
