About VEGAS

They're married, they just don't know it yet. But this isn't Vegas. It's Slough.

Awoken in a messy hotel room, Poppy finds herself in bed with her ex who isn't really her ex, Freddie. The two struggle to piece together the events of the night before until they reach the horrifying revelation that they are married. Sounds pretty rock-n-roll, right? But this isn't Vegas, this is a BnB in Slough. Poppy and Freddie have an hour until they need to check out. What happens when a Scouser and a Kentish Maid wake up married?

Following a 4.5 star run in Cambridge, and a highly anticipated run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Alice Robert and Louis Hadfield's 'constantly poignant and hilarious' (Poppy Gibbs, Varsity) show is coming to the Bread and Roses Theatre from the 23rd-24th of September as part of the Lambeth Fringe.

‘Funniest thing I’ve seen on stage all year - and that includes Broadway and the West End’

Our Goals

Being a part of the Lambeth Fringe is extremely exciting for us as a new theatre company, especially when it is with such a brilliant show. But of course, as with every piece of Fringe theatre, there are a lot of costs that we need to cover, and so we are trying to raise £350 to cover our production costs. This includes set, props, costume, music and all the other hidden things that go into putting on a show.
