My brother had suffered a terrible injury at work in Cyprus Nicosia where he currently lives. He is a welder. The main trauma and the many fractures were caused when he was pressed between a bunch of metal beams and one gone through his stomach. His internal organs are affected, lung and stomach mainly. Externally mainly his right arm and hand and right leg. Amputations followed and he now has got only 2 1/2 fingers left on his right hand. It is not healing well, unfortunatelly same applies to his stomach.

He is having constant difficulties in his day to day life at the moment but we are very happy because it is a MIRACLE that he has actually survived this severe injury. Bless the Lord for that!

My brother needs loads of materials for specific hygiene, care and procedures on a daily basis. We were we told the surgical procedures may continue for the next 2-3 years at least, also physyotherapy to make sure he won't be bound to a wheelchair to the rest of his life. We need funds to look after him NOW and make sure he is as best as possible for whatever his future life will be. Our hopes are with Jesus and we pray my brother will overcome that storm.

At the moment the relevant authorities are doing an investigation that will take who knows how long and therefore we can not state the name of the company he works for. My brother and our mother are relying on funds from family and friends only at this moment in time. Our mother is allowed to visit him daily which obviously helps a lot but we need money to make sure he gets the best possible treatment of the injuries he has got and my mum has got funds, so she can travel to arrange documents, regular sick notes and all the relevant paperwork required.
