All schools in the rural parts of Fiji are understaffed and severely lacking in resources and staff members, thus leaving children at a disadvantage, preventing them from receiving a high quality education. On top of this, poverty in the rural communities forces children to drop out of school , to assist their parents with generating a form of income for the family. This, unfortunately leads to the children succumbing to a future of limited opportunity.

I, with the assistance of an amazing team will be travelling to Fiji in order to help out in the local schools through teaching English and sports lessons everyday, for one month. As well as organising extra curricular activities for the children after school. This would all be done in partnership with the Fijian government. We will be organising small group lessons and one-to-one support that will help the kids with reading and writing, in the hope of a brighter future.
