Perth! We need your help.

The Velvet Lounge & Studio is raising funds for two important local charities that provide essential services to Perth and surrounding areas. In return for your support, we're bringing you our second live stream event 'Velvet Sessions' on Saturday 19th December. From 6pm til late you can tune into some of Perth's favourite resident DJs.

Perth & Kinross Foodbank

Perth & Kinross Foodbank is a lifeline to many Perth residents in their time of need. The dedicated team of staff and volunteers process, prepare and distribute emergency food supplies to those who would simply go without otherwise. After the turbulent year that 2020 sprung upon us, many more families and friends have found themselves using foodbanks. Half of all funds raised from the Velvet Sessions live stream will go to Perth & Kinross Foodbank - your donation, no matter the amount, could be the difference between someone going hungry this Christmas, or not.

The Lighthouse for Perth

We will also be raising funds for The Lighthouse For Perth; a mental health charity that offers support for anyone over the age of 12 who may be struggling with their emotions, feeling suicidal or considering self-harm. An extremely vital organisation that, again, has felt ever more valuable during the pandemic where the figures of those in need of mental health support and have reached crisis point have soared. The life-saving work of the Lighthouse For Perth is solely funded by donations and fundraising.
