Story
Vesper is very concerned about how homeless people will get a happy Christmas, especially during the Covid pandemic, and she‘s also worried about everybody‘s mental health for similar reasons. Homelessness and menta health issues are two things that often go hand in hand, so she‘s raising money for homeless people via Crisis and awareness and help for people struggling mentally via SANE. She will train a few rimes a week on muddy Hampstead Heath and then complete the final 10 K run in one go. She has previously run 7K so believes she can do another 3 with training. She is 8 years old and is willing to put a lot of effort into this in order to help. Please support whatever you can manage. If you can‘t donate please spread the word! 🙏🏼

4 years agoLois and Vesper finished their 10 km run in the gorgeous winter sunshine today in Regents’s park. Their time was 1h 12 mins and 26s, which is SO impressive and we are very proud. Thank you to everyone who’ve supported them and for your incredible generosity- they l’ve now raised nearly £2000 for Crisis and SANE - which is amazing and more than we imagined in our wildest dream!

4 years agoLois and Vesper completed a 8.5 km run on the Heath today and are now gobbling up a lot of pasta to keep their energy up. Both girls look like this is all a piece of cake -just goes to show what we humans can do when we put our minds and hearts in it. Final 10 K run is coming up next Saturday the 5th of December! Thanks for supporting and cheering them on!
