Private Joseph Hammond a 95 years old WWII veteran in Ghana, is walking 23 km to raise funds for frontline workers who are supporting Covid 19 relief efforts and war veterans in a number of African countries . Like hundreds of thousands of Africans, Private Hammond fought for Britain in WWII.

4 years agoWe are so in awe of the immense support that has been shown towards Private Hammond. The love shown has led to him being honored by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, and featured in many global networks; CNN, BBC, Aljazeera and more. Today our veteran has been featured in Hello Magazine one of the world’s leading magazines. We have currently raised £40,000 and we hope that he will reach his target.
