Story
Ryan Yates, a former British soldier who served in Afghanistan, has successfully taken £1,000,000 worth of medical aid to war-torn Ukraine, saving the lives of so many.
Working on behalf of his charity, Veteran’s Army, which provides counselling and support to former service personnel, Ryan and his team have made several dangerous trips into the country, delivering much-needed supplies to those most effected by the unforgivable conflict.
In total the group has made 17 medical equipment deliveries and five humanitarian deliveries. These consist of making an initial flight over to Poland or Slovakia, before loading up lorries with supplies and heading into various parts of Ukraine, all with the help of some local good samaritans.
Now that he’s hit this huge landmark Ryan is looking to keep going and he is now calling for help from people in the UK and beyond, asking for donations to allow him to continue this fine work.
Veteran’s Army is a Community Interest Company (CIC) headed up by Ryan Yates, a veteran of seven years in the elite 4/73 (Sphinx) Special OP Battery R.A. Unit. It was launched with the aim of providing a support network for former services personnel to help them navigate life after the military.
