Will be attempting to summit Mt Elbrus (Russia) July 2020. One of the 7 summits.
Mount Elbrus stands at 5642m high and is the highest mountain in Europe.
As a diverse group of climbers, from Bootnecks to riflemen, black watch to civilians, we have one goal to raise awareness for veterans mental health and break the stigma.
We wish to raise money for two charity organistaions, Rock 2 Recovery and ExForPlus, which both do outstanding work for those serving and veterans who need crucial help.
The epidemic in our veterans community is suicide, veterans mental health awareness is what we wish to achieve by competing this challenge. To raise vital funds for those who have sacrificed and for those who are still suffering.
On completion of Elbrus, Sam will be attempting a double of Mount Everest (8848m) immediately followed by Mt Lhotse (8516m)
