We are representing UK at the VEX IQ World Championship in the USA but we need your funds to make this happen. Please donate for our valuable cause.

The VEX IQ challenge is a robotics competition aimed at 8 - 14-year olds where children design, build and program a robot to tackle a specific task or challenge which is introduced every year. So far, we have had numerous successes winning four awards. At regionals, we won Design award and Teamwork champions giving us the chance to compete at Telford in the National Championships. There, we excelled and won Amaze Award and Teamwork 2nd place Award in the finals which contained teams from all across the United Kingdom. These incredible achievements have secured us a spot at the world championships in Kentucky, USA which will take place at the end of April. Here, we will be competing against the best teams from countries all around the world.

However, although our school has already contributed much to our success this year by providing not only the equipment and facilities for us to carry out our work, but also an amazing roster of staff who support and help us every step of our way, their funds are not unlimited. Already our parents have had to make significant financial contributions to pay for essential parts of our robot and the travel costs for all tournaments we have participated in this year.

Because of a lack of school funding, we are now having to pay for the travel, accommodation and registration fee of competing at the world championships. This comes up to a total of over £1600 each which is extremely hard for any one family to pay off.

Although we are also seeking additional help from sponsors, we still need your contributions. Any amount of money would aid us indefinitely in our endeavours to succeed and achieve at worlds.
