Story
In October 2017, Paul Brame (the brother of a close friend) tragically lost his battle with cancer at just 35 years old. In an amazing effort to do something to help keep Paul's memory alive and raise funds to help others, his family set up the not for profit foundation, The Paul Brame Foundation. This foundation raises money (mostly by Paul's family and friends doing crazy things) in order to
1) raise awareness of cancer in young adults under 40 years of age. It is becoming more and more common, but there is still very little available for people effected by this horrible disease within this age bracket.
2) To be a fundraising community where any money raised/donated can be collected and distributed to help some of the smaller charities within the charity sector that help so many people but don’t always get the recognition they deserve.
You can find out more about the foundation here - https://paulbramefoundation.com/
I am running the Thames Path Challenge which is 100km run from Fulham to Henley on 7 September to raise money for The Paul Brame Foundation and the Dogs Trust (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/vicki-abberton). Monies donated via this page will be donated to The Paul Brame Foundation.
