Hi I'm Lyra and I'm 7

When I walk to and from school I see so much litter on the way and it makes me feel really sad. It's on the paths, it's in the woods and it's in the stream. I want to start litter picking on the way to and from school to improve the environment for everyone and I thought it would be great if other children could join in too so I want to buy litter pickers (which are made out of abandoned fishing nets) for my school.

I've decided to run 1.5 miles, paddleboard 2 miles and then cycle 2.5 miles whilst picking litter on the way. Hopefully there won't be too much for me to carry, but we'll see!

If I raise lots of money and have some left over I will spend it on something else to improve the environment around our school.
