I cannot see another picture of an elderly person staring at an empty supermarket shelf. I just can‘t. This selfish stockpiling & everyman for himself attitude to this virus outbreak has left me feeling empty & disappointed. I cannot see another picture of busy parks, crammed with people flaunting government guidelines & showing a blatant lack of respect to their fellow man. This is madness & I can’t sit idly by & watch this happen.

Myself, @age_uk @mcvitiesofficial @heinz_uk @whitworthsuk @scoffmeals & @yahireltd have teamed up to start distributing Isolation Care packages to the elderly & vulnerable members of communities who are feeling too scared or at risk leaving their homes to do their weekly shops. We will be including as many essentials as possible & 5 nutritious & delicious meals so that the recipients can enjoy a hot & healthy meal of an evening.

But we can not do this alone- we need your help & your donations. So please dig deep, & think of those less fortunate than ourselves in these testing times. There is a just giving link in my bio for you to do your bit. But more than anything we need food donations. If there is absolutely anything at all you can spare, preferably non perishables, such as teabags, tins, rice, pasta etc.
