Story

On April the 8th 2018 me and three other nutters are attempting to run "The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris", also known as the Paris Marathon. We will be running 26.2 miles whilst also getting to view some of Paris's most famous sites; including the Arc de Triomphe, Bois de Vincennes, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.

I will be running the marathon in aid of two charities. The first being The Brain Tumor Charity. The Charity strides to fight to defeat brain tumors, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumors and their families. Brain tumors are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 and just 19% of adults survive for five years after diagnosis. I have chosen this charity as unfortunately this year my family lost a very close friend to a brain tumor.

The other charity is Alexander Devine Children's Hospice. This charity supports families across Berkshire in their own homes, providing much needed respite, palliative care, emotional and practical support for children suffering with terminal illness. They are currently in the final stages of building Berkshire's first and only children's hospice meaning every penny counts to ensure this amazing project gets finished.

The money raised will be split equally between each charity. Thank you for all your donations. Wish us luck!!!!
