Although not always violent, it is often underrated how truly damaging being in a relationship with a narcissist is. It is a form of abuse which often rears it's head after some time, meaning the victims are the ones who have already been sucked in to what was once seemingly a loving relationship. It can destroy your self worth, mental health and your strength.

Usually, it is a person who was once incredibly loving, and has grown to treat their spouse like dirt. Usually, the victim does not understand what is happening and tends to blame themselves. This can make it hard for them to leave.

We want to simply allow those who are in this situation to have the power to get themselves out of it, and rebuild their lives again. If these victims have gained the strength and power to finally leave a destructive relationship, it is not right that finances should prevent them from doing so.
