I'm raising £1,000 to support my son Matthew to replace his stolen para ice hockey Sledge, and support him through this Unimaginable time.

As some of you will know I recently had my car stolen whilst we we watching Sheffield Steelers with my boys at the weekend.

Inside the car was Matthews Para Ice Hockey Sledge. As a lot of you know he is a signed player for Sheffield Steelkings Para Ice Hockey team. Being part of this team has helped him so much not just physically but also mentally.

The sledge is specialist sports equipment - equipment that he depends on to take part in the sport he loves so much.

To make things worse this comes on top of what has been an incredibly painful time for our family. This includes the sudden passing of our 4 year old dog who was treasured by us all.

We are heartbroken with everything at the moment, and now Matthew is unable to train or compete in the sport that bring him joy, purpose and connection with others.

I am now reaching out to ask for your help if possible. Any contribution no matter how small - will directly go towards replacing Matthews equipment, which belonged to Sheffield Steelkings Para Ice Hockey club.
