Please meet our beautiful GSP LUDO. He was abandoned during a heavy snow fall at a large garbage dump in a bad way. Fortunately for him he was spotted as our kennel manager drove past on his way home! LUDO came over to say hello and was delighted to be offered a ride out of there in the back of the car, straight to the vet clinic. He was in poor shape and we had to work on him to get his health back but there was one problem we had to wait for, his Heartworm (HW).

Once LUDO had put on weight and had recovered from his ordeal, we booked him in for specialist treatment. It's not cheap but the process will rid LUDO of his heart worms, caused by infected mosquito bites! It's so easy to prevent HW but it seems his former owner couldn't be bothered so we have the task of helping LUDO now.
