I am a member of a not-for-profit team of volunteers that have been working hard all year trying to bring some Christmas cheer to the villages of Hoveton and Wroxham..

We have big plans and obviously the more money we raise the more spectacular the event will be.

We are hoping to have a tree with lights on with carols and mulled wine and more lights throughout the villages. And who knows, Santa might even make an appearance!

It’s the first time there’s really been an event like this and we want to make it something the capital of the Broads community can be proud of.

Our team have started to approach businesses in the villages and now we want to throw the net wider and ask anyone who would care to make a donation to support our event and make it a success this year and for many years to come.
