I've raised £12500 to send Saul on his dream holiday to America or camper van due to Covid-19

💙 2022 edit, we are still not where we need to be for Sauls van, fundraising outside of just giving has stopped due to covid and Saul being out of treatment. However Saul is now in a wheelchair full time due to chemotherapy complications so a van is still so important to us.
I've set up this page because if we get through this battle then Saul would love a van.
Saul is a bright and hilarious 8 year old with the fight of his life ahead of him.
In late April 2019, after a brief spell of feeling unwell, I found a lump on Saul's stomach. After multiple scans and invasive biopsies we discovered Saul had a stage 4 malignant rhabdoid tumour of the liver that had already spread to his arteries, up to the heart and metasised to his lungs. This is an incredibly rare and agressive type of cancer with a very poor prognosis and outlook.
Saul has already undergone 13 rounds of powerful chemotherapy, 11 rounds of radiotherapy, stem cell harvests, he had multiple infections and even 4 adult teeth removed at alder hey.
He has dealt with all of this with nothing but smiles and the will to fight. Anything you can do to help keep him smiling and giving him the best quality of life goes a long way.
*Update - 7 October*
Saul has now had a gruelling liver auto transplant operation and two new arteries built from donor tissue grafts.
He still has multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy to face and if we beat this he will deserve the holiday of a lifetime.
Update 6th Feb 2020
Saul is now waiting on round 14, his final round of chemotherapy at Alder Hey. He then has his post chemo scans scheduled at the end of this month.
Update 6th August 2020
Saul is doing incredibly well and we cannot thank you all enough for all your continued kindness.
Due to Covid-19 Saul has decided he may prefer to spend his money on a campervan so we can make 100s of memories in as many different places as possible.
America doesn't seem safe right now but we will get there one day.
