Story

A child can feel a hospital stay even more stressful than an adult, it is a scary and burdened time. There are very little support programs in China for hospitalised children and certainly not the clowns doctors which Magic Hospital launched. The program has over the years become very popular with the little patients and the staff.

Nurse Wang from the Beijing Children Hospital recently said "We don't have any time to play with the children and they indeed need such playing time. You have brought us so much happiness, especially the Clown show" And HaoHao, a cute 4 year old patient had said: “I like the blue best, please do come back tomorrow.” (We would love to come every day!”)

Currently 2 clowns can hold a Magic Day every Wednesday at the Beijing Children Hospital, and Mr Liu (on the photo has been with Magic Hospital since 2003) also visits Beijing University Hospital Children Ward ever second Friday. We pay the clowns a fee to ensure regularity and stability of the program. They not only entertain the children with their gimmicks but also teach them how to make balloon animals and paper flowers.

HaoHao has left the hospital but there are so many children waiting for some laughter and kindness. Please help sustain the clown visits!

Laughter is the best medicine - so be a doctor and send a laugh!
