Story
We have decided to do a sponsored walk to raise funds for ward 4 Royal Victoria Hospital in memory of Dad. This is a thank you to them for all they have done for Dad and us as a family.
They truly went above and beyond to care for Dad and keep him company while we were unable to visit. They helped with video calls, showing him pictures and spending time talking to him etc. This gave us some comfort to know he wasn't spending those 10 and half weeks completely alone. It breaks our hearts still that we couldn't be there with him and we cannot thank the staff enough.
The walk is going to be held on 1st November, around clatto pond and then Templeton woods where we will then scatter some of dad's Ashes.
This is somewhere that we all have memories with him. He used to play here when he was younger. Him and Mum would take myself and Laura.
He also spent a lot of time here with the grandchildren too. Where he would take them for walks, picnics, campfire building, toasting marshmallows etc..
This is something that all the grandchildren can take part in as they want to do something for thier amazing Granda, thier SuperFrank!
Thank you for reading.
