I'm raising £10000 to start Annabel's outdoor adventures

Annabel is the daughter to Andrew and Vikki, sister to Imogen, Esme and Henry and niece to James, Lisa, Katy, Tim, Edward, Claire, Tom, Beth, Victoria (Tory/Vicky) and Adam. We wont start listing all the cousins (you get the gist, we have a big family!). Annabel is dearly loved by us all!
Annabel is 9 years old and lives with a rare and devastating genetic condition called SCN2A-related disorder. She began having seizures on her second day of life, and for years, we didn’t know if she would survive. Her early childhood was filled with hospital stays, uncertainty, and some incredibly difficult moments for our whole family.
But Annabel is still here — and she’s extraordinary.
She can’t walk, talk, or feed herself, and she needs full-time care — but she has a spirit that shines through in the smallest moments. One of the places she comes alive most is outdoors. Whether it’s hearing the rustle of trees or feeling the breeze on her face, nature brings her joy and calm in ways that words can’t capture.
Right now, Annabel’s wheelchair can’t handle rough or uneven ground, which means her world is limited to paved paths. We want to change that.
Annabel's uncles and aunties are running a half marathon on 19th October 2025 to raise money to buy an all-terrain wheelchair that will allow Annabel to experience the countryside with her family — to go off the beaten path, explore new places, and simply enjoy being part of the world around her. Some of Annabel's cousins will also be taking part in a 5km run to support the fundraising effort.
Every step we run is for her. And every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving her a bit more freedom and a lot more joy.
Thank you so much for your support.
