Story

I need a wheelchair, there I've said it.

I've been struggling on crutches for several months now and have had to accept that I need more support.

I can no longer go to work or enjoy the hobbies I used to as my mobility gets worse at an alarming rate.

Unfortunately I cannot get any help, understanding, sympathy or treatment from the NHS as it's "broken" and my problem is not "life threatening"

So this is where I'm left, asking for help from strangers to help me to live my life without the constant and chronic pain that walking brings every minute of every day.

Yes £2000 seems a lot for a wheelchair, but I need something very lightweight to enable me to get it in the car and to help me stay fit, maybe a chair I can use it in a sports setting.

Please help me get my wheels and get me back out doing the simple things like taking the dog out, days out with family and friends, the things I love and miss.

So today(6 July) I went to Tesco to do some shopping, my friend came with me as I struggle on my own with crutches and trolley, she suggested I use one of their wheelchairs, omg, what a difference this will make to my life.
Instead of dragging myself round in agony, I wheeled my way around. I had no idea how easy this would make my life. So please help me get a chair.

Any amount, no matter how small will be very much appreciated.

Thank you.
