All the money that we've raised has been used for sending humanitarian aid directly to Ukraine. We are, however, continuing our activity, please follow us on Facebook (Victoria G-m) to see how we help Ukrainian refugees in the UK and for ways to support us.

On April 4 our 6th van load was sent in Ukraine. When we started collecting aid we thought we would send a car load but with the help of our incredible local community we ended up filling a whole van; and we kept on filling van loads. In total we’ve sent about 15 tons of aid mostly food and medications, worth around £120000. We’ve met amazing people, made friends and this friendship will be forever as it was checked during difficult times. I can’t stress enough how much I’m grateful to each and every one of you who were with us all this time.

On March 24 we sent our 5th van load and on March 26 it’s already in Ukraine. It’s a phenomenal effort and everyone involved should be proud of what we have achieved! As you can see, we are still some way short of raising enough money for this trip and we plan another trip soon. The 6th van load will be our last as-the UK government will be sending food from next week, so we will concentrate on helping Ukrainian refugees arriving to our local area.
