Vidya is a newly set up community based project mainly in the London Area. Vidya is a project that has been set up by a few individuals who are passionate about raising awareness of the homelessness crisis and educating people that not all homeless want to be on the streets. They have been on the accommodation lists for five years and more and just because they are not deemed vulnerable they are not housed quick enough.

Vidya is on a mission to help these people access basic essentials for themselves and their canine companions. We have started to collaborate with companies for donations but we still need to purchase many items for them. Items include, sleeping bags, blankets for dogs personal hygiene items for men and women such as safety razors / combs/ sanitary wear etc, books, socks , glove, scarves warm hats, rape alarms etc . Did you know it has to be minus 5 degrees for three nights in a row before they will open up emergency pop up shelters for them. Please guys, spare how much you can with the economic situation we are facing and the increasing uncertainty where world peace is concerned who knows someone we love may be faced with this situation seems more and more likely.

Dog care: Dog food, Dog treats, Collars, Dog blankets.
