I've raised £2500 to save and restore the Viewpark Gardens to their former glory. These initial funds will be used to gain access and begin repairing all damage.

The Viewpark Gardens and the memories they hold belong to us all." - Lynn, Viewpark Gardens Trust chairperson.
The Viewpark Gardens are a beautiful and historic treasure in the heart of the Viewpark Community. Due to budget cuts, North Lanarkshire Council have sadly had to withdraw the funding to maintain and manage the Gardens. Placing them at risk of permanent closure and destruction for development.
The Viewpark Gardens Trust (formerly Save Viewpark Gardens) are working to save the Gardens, keep them within the community, and realise the full potential of this historic, valuable, and peaceful sanctuary.

Viewpark is in the top 5% of deprived areas. Our mission is to keep this beautiful asset within the area.
The trust is fundraising to allow us to gain access & begin the restoration process of the gardens. Sadly, since the funding was withdrawn, nature has taken over and the gardens are overgrown and unmaintained. We have lost many plants in the tropical glasshouses. Not all is lost! We want to maintain what is left & begin the process of adding new plants for the community to cherish all over again.
