Story
The FIDA Foundation is an NGO based in Pune, India. It was established 12 years ago by a group of my school friends who wanted to 'give something back'. We aspire to empower the underpriviledged by providing access to education. Over the years we have taken on dozens of students from impoverished backgrounds via the Scholarship Program, most of whom are now established professionals giving back to their local communities. In addition to Scholarship Programs we also support special projects in a school for disabled children and provide ongoing pastoral support and career advice.
We do not do money hand outs and this old adage seems to perfectly capture our philosophy
