Story
As you are all aware it is small businesses that are set to suffer adversely in these uncertain Coronavirus times.
Since the Government advised that as many people as possible work from home in London to curb the spread of Corvid-19, there has be a huge reduction in footfall/travel through Peckham Rye Station. This is having a direct result on Motown Caffe who have lost customers and due to panic buying around Peckham Rye he is also struggling to purchase milk to support his business.
His coffee is great, as are the pastries and needless to say the owner is wonderful, a well-known face of the community who always remembers your order and who you are.
As a result, I would like to set up a simple way so that the regulars of Motown Caffe can buy a ‘virtual’ coffee to show our support and that we are thinking of him and the business in these crazy times.
So, if you regularly buy a coffee, snack, water on your way to work (or even if you don’t) why not continue to do so by donating your usual weekly spend to continue to support Motown Caffe so that when this all over he’s there to brighten our dull commute to our office when we have to go back.
Any donation large or small I’m sure would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Sarah (Motown Caffe flat white/frozen coffee addict)
