Story

Despite being the second most common breast cancer, there is no specific treatment for lobular AND IT CANNOT BE DETECTED ON MAMMOGRAMS. My incredible friend Susan Michaelis is stage 4 and when she and her husband Tristan visited the Institute for Cancer Research, they learned it is only money holding back the research for a tailored treatment. It was done for covid, so why not lobular breast cancer? So these two amazing, aeronautical geeks are now lobbying and campaigning to raise the £20 million the ICR needs, calling it the ‘lobular moonshot’ to match the dedication that took man to the moon! I‘m planning to work 20 miles from Horsham to the Sussex coast to raise money and awarenes. Please join/share/sponsor if you possibly can.
