I've raised £1500 to honour service personnel who died in WW1 by compiling archives printed/digital of special Bell Ringing performances - southern UK incl. C.I.

Might you care to sponsor me please? Every little helps! Thank you.
On Saturday 5th May, as well as bell ringing at a 4 Isle of Wight churches I'll be pedalling from Newport to Godshill then Whitwell and finishing at Niton... I have to admit my bike will be Power Assisted BUT I do have to pedal a fair bit, honest!!
Approximate distance cycled will be 10 miles.
If all goes well, this Isle of Wight event is likely to be Stage 1 of 8 or 9 in a relay across to the Channel Islands and back on to the mainland...from Bournemouth up to Andover, across to Basingstoke, up into Surrey and back down to Portsmouth...bell ringers doing their best to honour the WW1 personnel.
Bell Ringers with me on 5th May will be visiting three churches where 5 Island Ringers who died during the WW1 conflict had been active bell ringers. We will ring a commemorative performance for each one in their honour and memory at Newport, Godshill and Whitwell.
The details will be recorded in the special archives we're creating - over 700 performances to date!
The printed volumes will be presented to Winchester and Portsmouth Cathedrals at special services in 2019 and the digital archives will be accessible to many as well.

Thank you again.
