    Story

Share the gift of a global education by supporting the UNESCO Voices of Future Generations Children's Initiative, which aims to empower children to promote the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goal Agenda (SDGs).

A major component of the Voices of Future Generations Children's Initaitive is the Children's Book Series. Books are authored by children aged 8-12 from around the world, and are illustrated, published and disseminated globally for children to benefit from this knowledge of the SDGs and CRC. In August 2018 Bloomsbury published Voices of the Future: Stories from Around the World, an inspiring anthology featuring stories from eight child Authors. The Voices of Future Generations Initiative also facilitates biennial Intergenerational Learning Circles, an event which enables children to enter into effective and inspiring communication with experts and global leaders who are effecting positive change in the fields of children's rights and sustainable development.

Through the Book Series, Intergenerational Learning Circles, Online Learning Seminars, mentorship events and Children's Summits, the Voices of Future Generations Children's Initiative aims to empower children to take action and amplify their voices for the promotion of their rights globally and their rights in international sustainable development. Through this Initiative children are able to express their voices on global issues that concern them, allowing them to become involved in effecting change and in shaping their future and that of future generations.

Supporting the Voices of Future Generations Children's Initiative will be giving the gift of global citizenship, a powerful tool for effective change and children's empowerment.

Funds from this campaign will be used to purchase books from the Child Author series, and the Global Child Ambassadors will disseminate these books to schools in need in the UK, as well as in countries in Africa and the South Pacific.

Your gift will have an immediate and positive impact in supporting children's education, promoting greater global awareness and an enhanced understanding of the world's challenges, and encouraging youth advocacy. These developments will have long-lasting impacts in communities around the world.
