The Big Benefit Broadcast 2026 📻
Your 24 hours to make a difference!
At Valley Park Radio (VPR), we're passionate about bringing great music, friendly voices and companionship to patients, staff and visitors at Darent Valley Hospital.
On **14th–15th November 2026**, we're launching our first annual fundraising event! We'll be broadcasting live for 24 hours, from 10am on Saturday until 10am on Sunday, with your favourite presenters, great music and a few surprises along the way!
🎯 Our target: £6,000
We're raising £6,000 towards a new Mobile Broadcast Unit, allowing us to broadcast live from inside the hospital and at local community events. This will help us bring the excitement of these events to patients and staff who can't attend in person.
As a volunteer-run hospital radio station, we rely on donations to keep our equipment up to date and our station on air.
