Story

We aim and will, train all ages in surf lifesaving skills such as; drowning prevention, critical first aid (including resuscitation) and rescue techniques. Our club age ranges from Nippers (7-12 years), Youth (13-15 years), Senior (16+ years) and masters (30+ years). However, to help make a difference in Weymouth and West Dorset area, we need some funds to buy items to train the community. Some of the equipment needed includes; a full first aid kit to give them a chance to practice first hand in scenarios, likewise we would like some resuscitation Annies to enhance their learning further.

A little more about our new club.. We are affiliated by Surf Lifesaving Great Britain (SLSGB) and have been officially a club since the 9th February 2018. We have a great team of trainers keen and ready to go and with our community partnership with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) nothing will beat us!

Our aims are to provide the community with the skills to make society safer in and around the water, in search and rescue, first aid, rescues and to encourage fitness, responsibility and enjoyment.

Check out of our facebook page for more updates and photos. Also have a look at the SLSGB website ...
