Hello,

My name is Leah and i have recently started up my own dog walking and pet sitting business. Although it may not sound it, its a very competitive and popular job.

I had saved up a lot of money but was used up to pay rent while at University, which i ended up leaving due to a change of heart and the hardship of funding. I have spent the past 6 months trying to scrape money by, selling personal items, working at my job as much as i could and i would also go busking around wellingborough with my ukulele which i continue to do. I want to make something of myself and start this business. I have struggled a lot through my youth, which is not uncommon. Trying to get a 9 to 5 job is much harder with all the part time hours and 0 hour contract jobs that are available to 'unqualified' people. These past months have been difficult and if it wasn't for the help of my family, i would not be where i am today.

I understand that this is not a first priority for donating money, but i need help if i want this to happen. I need help with payment for fuel, insurance, supplies and advertisement.

So far i have had quite a good amount of work pop up in the first month, this was due to having a Facebook page, commenting on local community pages, posting my business cards through lots and lots of doors... and putting my cars in local pet shops and vets. I am not trying to raise money for advertising and helping my business to really push off.

It is something i feel very passionate about. I have always loved animals, and would love to be finally doing a job that makes me happy. Since i was 17 i was working in pubs, shops and a theatre. One stage to help get buy i have 2 jobs, working mostly 20 hour days.

Here are just a few of the things i have done these past few years to help people. After not having much money myself i would still help those who needed it most, raising over £500 for the Royal & Derngate youth groups so young kids could do what they love! I also raised over £200 with a group of friends doing a dog show at Irchester country park for the RSPCA. I have also donated money that i have made during busking to the homeless around the area, but donations where changed from money to supplies and personal items they may need.

With this page i hope that my business will grow. I hope to share it with all my friends and family, even if i made no money, i just hope that it will advertise my business. But any money spared i would be forever grateful.

I don't want to ask for much, but anything would be truly appreciated, to just help kickstart my brand new business. Its impossible to keep going the way its been, and i really don't want to give this up. I tried so hard to give it the push it needs, but i just need your help to, please share <3
